For those who don’t know, this week is the Leipzig Games Convention and the announcements are flowing. Among these announcements are some new cool GPS and IM features for the PSP and, coolest of all, a new Video On Demand service for the PS3. Many of these new features seem really cool but, like many of Sony’s more interesting products, there is no release date or even release window for the US. While sony hasn’t stated that it won’t be out in the states, this wouldn’t be the first interesting product that hasn’t made the trip (heres looking at you PSP GPS adapter).

Let me come the rescue of my secret lover, Miss Sony: http://kotaku.com/gaming/gc07/harrison-sheds-light-on-us-plans-ps3-dvr-and-psp-tv-292330.php

It’s the cable companies fault. Maybe they will fix that when bandwidth increases.

…Yeah, I don’t expect that to happen either.
